Remember when we used to keep our crazy rants to ourselves? Those days when we would slam our bedroom doors behind us, making a bee-line straight to our diaries to write down our innermost thoughts thinking nobody will ever read them but us. Sadly in this ever-increasing digital world of ours those days are slowly fleeting.
To bring back that sense of nostalgia, “Diary Days” a quirky event organised by top London blog, Thirty Something London encourages people to read out their old diaries, love letters, report cards, Christmas lists and any other piece of cringe-worthy literature from our youth in a cool, intimate setting. As you can imagine it’s hilarious – with people not holding back when divulging their deepest inner thoughts from their teens.
It’s fast becoming one of London’s funniest nights out with tickets only 5 pounds each. You are allowed to just come and watch or be there for moral support, though once you’re there you’ll realise how addictive it is and want to get up and read yourself!
The next event is on Tuesday July 14th at The Book Club in Shoreditch. The first 3 sold out, so be quick and click HERE for tickets.
